Welcome to the first ever post of Brigit's Flame on Dreamwidth!
We've still got some settling in to do, so please excuse our dust over the next few days.
If you are not familiar with us, Brigit's Flame Writing Comunity started over on livejournal back in 2008. There have been many changes over the years, but our core purpose is still the same. We want to get writers talking about writing, creating new work, and expanding their writing skills.
Brigit's Flame is a competitive community that provide weekly writing prompts, hold month-long competitions for bragging rights, and volunteer peer review/edits when we have the appropriate manpower. We also work to keep the members engaged via daily chatter posts, workshops, and mini-contests.
